How do I identify QIWI and YooMoney wallets?
YooMoney and QIWI services are registered in the Russian Federation. According to Russian legislation, funds can currently only be transferred to named and identified wallets. Depositing an anonymous wallet is prohibited, therefore requests for anonymous wallets are rejected.
Once a wallet has been identified, the details remain the same, there is no need to add them again.
How do I identify my QIWI Wallet in Russia?
Russian citizens can be verified online. To do this, log in to your QIWI Wallet and go to the "Identification" section.
After clicking on the "Enter data" button, a form will appear for you to fill in. You need to enter your passport details and then verify or enter your TIN/SNILS/MHI card number.
It takes about 3-5 minutes to fill it in. If there are no errors, you must submit the form for verification. This takes on average about an hour, but can sometimes be quicker.
When the verification is successful, the wallet is given the status "Basic" and can be used to receive funds.
A simpler and quicker method of identification is via the Gosuslugi portal. This method is suitable for those who are already registered there and have confirmed their identity. Then you can select the appropriate item in the Identification form and log in to your account.

How do I identify my YooMoney wallet in Russia?
The former Yandex.Money wallet also needs to be identified. For Russian citizens living in Russia, it can be identified online in several ways:
- Free: for Sberbank clients via SberID.
- Paid: for MTS SIM card holders, cost 60 RUB. The SIM card must be registered to the owner's passport.
- Paid: for MegaFon SIM card holders; the cost is 60 rubles. The SIM card must be registered to the owner's passport.
