To change it, you need to have access to your current email. It is where the email is sent to confirm the action and complete the procedure of login changing.
This is done for security reasons, so that in case of hacking the user does not lose full control over the account.
How do I change my login on the website?
To change the email address in an account, you need to:
1. Log in to your personal account on the Megabonus website.
2. Go to "Settings". You can find it on your own by clicking on the ⚙️ icon in two ways:
- In the cash back service. Click on the three horizontal lines icon in the upper left corner. In the list that appears, select the required option "⚙️ Settings".
- In any section. Click on the avatar icon in the top right corner and then on ⚙️ in the window that appears.
3. On the page that opens, look for the "Email" block. It is located straight below the "Profile" section.
4. Enter the new data in the appropriate field and click "Save".
5. Confirm the login change in the email sent to the current email. The new one will be available after confirmation.
If the letter cannot be found, there may be several reasons for that.
How do I change my login on the app?
To change your login, open the app and follow the instructions:
1. Click on the account icon in the bottom right corner.
2. From the list that appears, select "Settings".
3. In the "Personal information" block, find the item "Change email". Use the right arrow or click on the full line to enter new data.
4. Enter the new email address in the box that appears.
📌 Remember that all requests for change of details, password and answers from the Support Team will come to this email. Therefore the email must be active and accessible.
5. At the bottom of the screen the grey "Change email" button will change to yellow. This means that it has become clickable. Click on it. If everything has been done correctly, a notification will appear notifying you that the email has been sent to your current mailbox.
6. Confirming the changes will complete the procedure. To do this open the received email and click on "Confirm". The request is automatically generated. If the email cannot be found, there may be several reasons for this.
What do I do if I don't remember or can't access my account email?
1. If you can't remember it, try the following:
Recall whether or not a social network has been linked to your account. If you registered through it, there may not be a login. Simply select the Ok, Vk, FB or Google icon when logging in and try to log in.
💡 If the account appears empty when you log in, then there was no linking and a new account was formed.
2. If the first point didn't work or you lost access to your old email:
Send a screenshot from your current address to prove your rights to make changes to your account. This should be taken from your account at the shop and should contain the order number for which the cash back has been credited.
You can use this information to contact the Support Team and ask to find the account number or change the address to a valid one. It is important to specify to which email the answer should be sent.
